Marlene works very hard at creating a successful business. She works from early morning to very late at night, sometimes into the next morning.

How to Host a Passion Party:

The beautiful Dr. Berman sat down with Oprah and spoke candidly about sexual awareness and the importance of women feeling comfortable with and exploring their own bodies.

If you have a good sex life it makes you look 7 to 12 years younger, your system is 33% stronger, you can have a 50% decrease in heart disease, you have less stress, less insomnia, and it’s also a natural pain reliever… also great for relieving mentrual cramps and headaches. – Dr. Laura Berman

She also stated that high levels of stress will chemically lower your sex drive. Not only does disruptive psychology effect our sex drive and libido, but chemical processes within our body can contibute to this as well, which foreplay cannot remedy. We must first remove stress from our lives, or at the very least learn to check it at the front door.

According to Dr. Berman;

• Men – 5 to 10 minutes to reach orgasm, on average.
• Women – 15 to 20 minutes to reach orgasm, on average.

She states that one of the reasons behind this is physiology, but another reason is because women are natural multi-taskers and it takes a little more time for women to quiet the mind and to really get into the moment. This makes so much sense!

Another topic touched upon on the show was perimenopause, which is the transition period of time before menopause, marked by a decreased production of estrogen and progesterone, irregular menstrual periods, and transitory psychological changes. This usually happens in a womans late 30′s or early 40′s.

This can cause dryness and a thinning of the vaginal tissues and also cause a drop in testosterone which can affect your libido and sexual response. Low testosterone levels can also decrease your “zest for life”, according to Dr. Berman.

3 Types of Orgasms

As Passion Parties Consultants, we are trained to educate other women about their bodies. This is actually one of the topics discussed at an actual Passion Party, so I thought it fitting to add it here since it’s so important for women to realize the pleasure potential their own bodies offer them.

1. Clitoral – This is the easiest for women to achieve and can be induced by direct or proximal stimulation.
